Mena Alexandra (born on 13 February 1979) is an actress and model from the United States. She began her modeling career in the year 1990, and then moved into acting following appearances as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. In 1997 she debuted as an actor in the film Nowhere. Her performances as a character in American Beauty - for which she was nominated to get a BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned more attention from the public as she stepped into more prominent roles. Since then she appeared in Loser (2000) along with the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main character in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). The film also featured her in the independent 2002 drama Spun and the 2004 thriller film Trauma. In HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004, she was recognized as an Outstanding Cast member in the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari appeared in a variety of films, including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as in the adaptation of The Garden of Eden.
